As franchise star Channing Tatum announced in his first-ever Facebook Live on Wednesday, Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be the new home to the beloved big screen stripper.
Tatum will not be taking the stage himself, much to the Internet's dismay, at least not as a full-time cast member. But he did tell fans to expect some cameos from stars of the original movies.
Magic Mike was the shock-and-awe movie of the summer in 2012. Shock because it was loosely based on the life of Channing Tatum as a 19-year-old stripper in Tampa, Fla. Awe because art-film director Steven Soderbergh turned the sordid saga into a hilarious comedy romp that left millions of women fans weak in the knees over the bevy of buff bodies on display.
