The 14 minute show, featuring 6,500 fireworks, will bring in the New Year in Baltimore.
The Mississippi State Insurance Commissioner and State Fire Marshal Mike Chaney would like to urge caution if you are celebrating with fireworks for New Year’s. Chaney says sparklers, can reach up to 1,200 º Fahrenheit, which is hot enough to cause third-degree burns.
The show producer says in addition to the chrysanthemums, red rings and willows, there are a few new twists.
