Finally that time of year. I have already caught 10 minutes of NBC airing 'Santa Claus is Comin to Town', the day after Thanksgiving. Realized quickly I had never seen it before (don't know how I managed to miss that throughout my entire childhood). But got me thinking, what are some other Xmas films/features I have missed?

Anyways, wanted to start a 'what's your favorite Christmas movie' thread.

    For me-

The Nightmare Before Christmas, Santa Claus, Home Alone, The Family Man, and The Family Stone.

I see Die Hard on a lot of top Christmas movie lists. Does that really qualify?

It depends if I'm watching with young kids or my adult friends!

My favorite adult Christmas movie is "Bad Santa" and I'm looking forward to catching the sequel sometime before Christmas.

My favorite family Christmas movies are National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Love Actually, and Elf. I wish I appreciated the "classics" more, but I just was never able to get into them.

Die Hard, Die Hard 2, Lethal Weapon, Batman Returns, and both Home Alones. ;)

I'm going with A Clockwork Orange. That film radiates Christmas spirit.

But if I was being silly, I would go with Nightmare Before Christmas.

Batman Returns, nice! Forgot about that one. A Clockwork Orange.. oh yeah. That's up there too, right along with the Shining. Always gets me in the holiday spirit of things. :)
