The captain for the show 'Deadliest Catch' Sig Hansen had a heart attack that nearly killed him last year. Now he is back on his ship, doing the show for Season 13, which just started back up. Seems pretty dangerous to me. Then I read that a month after his heart attack (which was Feb '16) he was sued by his estranged daughter for sexual abuse, that supposedly happened decades ago when she was 2 years old.
I don't know what to make of that. Courts are trying to figure out right now if the trial can even legally proceed. As of now, its put 'on hold'. With all that, I wonder it that was a reason for Sig to get back to doing the show, to get away from everyone and get back to people thinking of him as the captain and all?
I bet so. I never watched the show, but kept hearing about him even still. So that story has spread quite a bit. I have a real hard time feeling sorry for anyone accused of something like that. Even knowing full well he could be innocent, I can't help but think it's safer to assume to he isn't.
That's the worst part of accusing someone publicly like that.. doesn't matter if you are innocent. A huge portion of your audience will assume the worst. Hopefully if he is innocent, he can figure out a way to prove it. If not, kick him off the show.
