    Every year there are more and more celebrities in super bowl commercials. It seems all the big names are doing it now. When did this become such a big trend?

    I'm thinking it probably really took off after Cindy Crawford's Pepsi commercial.

    Yeah sounds about right. Seems an easy way for celebs to get seen by millions all at once, to keep them relevant and top of mind. Plus I'm sure its a great pay day for them. And commercials with celebs get talked about the most the next day, usually. So kinda win-win for the celebs and the ad companies.
