In honor of Jeff Bridges getting the lifetime achievement award at the 2019 Golden Globes, I wanted to take a second to discuss favorite films of his, plus his resume for why he is getting the award.
Bridges has been nominated for a GG 5 times for his performances in (chronologically):
'Starman', 'The Fisher King', 'The Contender', 'Crazy Heart' and 'Hell or High Water'. He won the Best Actor award for 'Crazy Heart'.
Now onto your favorite Jeff Bridges' films (assuming you're a fan). I think the most obvious choice is his most iconic role as 'The Dude' in 'The Big Lebowski'. But there are many for me. In no real order:
My top 5:
Tron (the original)
Crazy Heart
The Big Lebowski
Hell or High Water
The Men Who Stare at Goats
What's your favoite(s) of his? Feel free to share a favorite scene from youtube as well if you can find a good version.
