New Royal Baby's Name Includes 'Diana' and 'Elizabeth'

    Kate Middleton and Prince William's 2nd child is a girl (the Princess of Cambridge) and her name has just been announced: Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Princess Charlotte is now 4th line to the crown in the royal family tree, behind her big brother, Prince George, her dad Prince William, and her granddad Charles, Prince of Wales.

    I see where Elizabeth and Diana came from in the naming of the Princess, but what of Charlotte? Is that a family name, or something Kate and William just liked?

    I don't know if Charlotte holds any special meaning, but it is really neat to see them honor William's late mother. I was a little surprised that wasn't her first name, but it's still nice to see it as one of her middle names.
