Could also be called 'break the internet day', as much traffic as Netflix gets when they release a new season of Orange is the New Black. Read somewhere that Netflix accounts for somewhere in the ballpark of 30-35% of all internet traffic. And to consider a majority of it comes from a handful of shows (Breaking Bad, House of Cards and OITNB), it's even more impressive.
It's amazing how many people consume an entire season of a show just a day or two after the entirety is released. Not that I won't be a part of it. I'm just as obsessed and ready to binge as the next fan. Netflix is pretty genius.
June 12th is the premiere of Season 3. Gonna binge yourself?
This means June 11th will be OITB Season 2 binge watching day for me. I need to make sure I'm all up to speed after not watching it for an entire year.
I'm really looking forward to this season. I have no doubt that it will be awesome.
jarhead83 Wrote: Only a few more days. This show is awesome. I think it's pretty funny how Netflix turned a 200 page book into a multiple season series, but that's just fine with me. This is one of my favorite shows and I can't wait for the new season to be released.
NeoLogic Wrote: Netflix actually released the season a few hours early on the 11th. Thought that was cool. I've haven't yet consumed the entire season. But I've already watched through 7 episodes. Anyone got me beat?
